Meet Gift Basket Associate Giana
Giana is a creative individual who enjoys helping customers find the perfect gift for any occasion. You can always find her hard at work in our Gift Basket Department!

Background
Giana is a creative-minded person who loves to learn new things. She is open to applying her creativity to new projects and loves to be creatively challenged. In her spare time she is a handmade jewelry small business owner. She just joined our Market Basket family in 2023 and has been an integral part of our basket department.
Expertise
Giana assists our store in many ways. Her typical day consists of being a barista, florist, ordering and stocking all of our homemade confections and chocolates, fulfilling gift basket and box orders as well as assisting customers in finding the best gift for their occasion.
“My favorite basket to make is the Italian basket,” she says. “I love all of the products that go into it, it is a very high-end and beautiful looking basket.” She also enjoys creating our entrée boxes. “I enjoy hearing people express their happiness for receiving one and I enjoy seeing what foods people pick from our menu.”
Giana also helps run our beverage bar in our Gift Basket Department. She says her favorite drink would have to be a cappuccino with salted caramel syrup as well as our iced ginger peach tea with raspberry syrup. Be sure to give them a try next time you’re in store!
Favorite Part Working at Market Basket
Giana says her favorite part of working at Market Basket is the creative freedom. “It makes me happy to know that customers put their trust in me to build them a basket that will not only satisfy them, but make the perfect gift for their occasion,” she says. “I am always happy to assist customers in finding the perfect gift.”
She also says that she enjoys the comradery here at MB. “Market Basket really is like a family. From day one I felt like I fit right in because everyone is so kind and friendly. You will quickly realize they aren’t just your co-workers, but great friends.”
