You’ll notice upon walking into our store that there are a variety of new changes. Located right between our cheese and basket departments you will find our new Italian section! This section encompasses our favorite Italian products including our homemade pizzas, prepared meals, a variety of pastas, homemade sauces, pesto, Market Basket marinara, E.V.O.O., imported Italian specialties and more!
Homemade Pesto Sauce
Our store-made pesto is the perfect way to elevate any dish! Made with only the finest ingredients, our chefs have perfected this classic recipe. They hand-pick the most fresh basil leaves and add them to a special blend of olive oil. Then fresh grated parmesan cheese, garlic, salt and pepper are added to the mixture and the ingredients are blended to perfection!
Homemade Pasta & Sauces
Did you know we offer a line of our very own MB pasta? And what goes better with pasta than some of our homemade pasta sauces of course! Our homemade sauces are made from scratch in our very own kitchens! We make them with the finest ingredients and everything is fresh, no preservatives are ever added. We have a wide variety of options to choose from like our white clam sauce, tomato basil sauce, sausage Bolognese sauce, marsala cream sauce, pink Pomodoro sauce, alfredo sauce and more!
Homemade Pizza
If you’re looking for some fresh Italian pizza made from scratch – you’ve found the right spot! We make our very own homemade pizza in house! Our bakers start by creating our homemade dough recipe, then kneed and toss it by hand. The pizza is then prepared with a selection of toppings for all of our various selections and cooked in our specialty ovens. Our homemade specialty pizzas make the perfect quick and easy dinner and are the perfect dish your whole family is sure to love!

We are proud to carry New Jersey’s very own VitaMia pasta products! VitaMia products are prepared the old Italian way – the right way! Everything we sell from them in store is 100% made from scratch. Their homemade pastas are fresh and delicious. Be sure to give these products a try next time you stop in!

Cooked according to a recipe originating in Italy and mastered in our kitchens, our All-Natural Marinara Sauce is made using whole ingredients simmered to perfection. The key to the delicious and authentic Italian taste is using simple ingredients of the highest quality. Enjoy and gratzie!
Market Basket E.V.O.O.
Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced exclusively for the Market Basket by an award-winning Sicilian producer. Made with native olives, the green-gold color and fragrant aroma are the product of cold extraction within hours of harvest.
Pastificio dei Campi Pasta
Try some of our specialty products in our Italian section like our specialty imported pastas! The pasta of the Pastificio dei Campi is produced with 100% Italian durum wheat semolina, with a protein content that exceeds 14% and is bronze drawn. The wheat is of own production, cultivated with the ancient technique of three-year crop rotation and totally traced through the TotalTrackingSystem® certified system that can be used from the company website.” And what goes better with pasta than our homemade Market Basket marinara sauce!
